What is a provenance record
A provenance record is the minimal, self-serve attribution profile any developer, app, or agent can publish. It states the asset digest, the creator identity, the model or agent used, the input hashes, a timestamp, and a signature.
Publishing a provenance record is instant, because frictionless attribution is the mission. It is labeled ATTESTED: it asserts who made something, not that its claims were verified. Attribution and verification are different promises, and the registry never blurs them.
Resolve one at /r/{digest}; its asset page at /a/{content_hash} aggregates every record about that asset. See also verification record.
