Verify-before-transact for agent commerce

Verify-before-transact is the pattern where an autonomous agent checks the registry before it acts on or pays for an AI-created asset. The registry is pre-transaction infrastructure for the agent economy at large, not any one marketplace's accessory.

The loop: an agent holds one or more asset digests. Before transacting, it calls POST /v1/verify-batch with up to 1000 digests and receives, per digest, the signature status, log inclusion, errata count, and judge version. Due diligence at portfolio scale, in one call, free at Tier-0 rates.

Because all reads are anonymous and no reader identifier is ever stored, an agent can perform this check without revealing what it is about to buy. Checking a record is always free.
